I was not sure if this was the right forum. I'm looking for ideas on covering up the sides of my layout. The area between the top of the bench and the floor. Underneath my benchwork has become storage for a wide assortment of stuff. I want to cover it with curtains, drapery, wood? I was wondering what you guys use for this purpose. I see some examples of folks using part wood and part drapery. I was thinking about using cheap cloth that I would cut to size. I was wondering what you guys use and did it serve the purose of looking good and covering up the underside of the benchwork. Any feedback is most appreciated. Thanks.....

Gunrunnerjohn,

What is the purpose of the little bump-out in your second picture?

Thanks,

Ed

Just a fun place to put something like a freight station or other building.  The primary purpose was also to make the fascia not be a straight line but rather have a little more interest with the curves.  That was done for all of the edges.  Here's some more of the build pictures after the fascia was installed.
