How do I identify 2023 & 2033 UP AA loco's from new reissues neither set has boxes

Look at the data plate on the engine or the shell, somewhere on there it will have "Made in USA" or "Made in New York". That is what a lot of post war engines have.

The newer engines will have "Made in China" or "Mt Clemens Mich." and will have a circuit board inside them.
