Identify Car - 6111? | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

I have a couple of these cars. I checked Tandem Associates site and it looks like a stamped steel log car no. 6111. The trucks look too new (replaced) and the color seems orange versus yellow. Am i on the right track?

I'm not sure what you are saying. The trucks are correct for this 6121. The color is correct, medium yellow.

My mistake - was trying to identify it and the color looked more orange to me... don't know the hue of the original colors. Thought the trucks looked newer than the 50's. So it's a 6121. Thanks so much for the help and Happy Holidays!

6111 carried logs, 6121 pipes. Those are repo pipes, so it could have carried either. But most likely pipes. Red and Grays' usually logs.
