Over the years I've built up a large quantity of small white plugs taken from old TAS, DD and other boards.  When I have the correct # of pins they fit ERR and Lionel boards I've used lately.

I'd like to purchase sockets for these plugs but I've tried a couple of times to order what I thought were correct only to find out they were too large.  Pin spacing appears to be .1"

Does anyone know the name or identifier for the plugs and sockets?

Most of the ones used on TMCC boards are JST EH connectors and are hard to find in all sizes. Legacy boards also use 2mm JST PH and 1.5mm JST ZH which can be found on Amazon in kits that are reasonably priced.
Amazon also has 2.54mm/.1” JST XH kits but these have different housings than the EH connectors. Can be made to fit if EH cannot be found but not ideal.

Here's some info regarding JST-EH (and other sizes) in this thread:

Not sure Ali Express is still a source.

Norm, that link I posted is still good, you just can't get pre-made jumpers.  However, the connectors, pins, and PCB headers are all availaible.

10set EH 2.5mm Pitch Connector Straight /Curved pin header Socket +Housing+Terminals Replacement of jst Wire-to-Board 2P345-12P

That's good to know but I think I might be set for life!

Well, I bought a bunch of each size, and I have a big box of old Lionel wire harnesses, so I suspect I'm in the same situation.  When all the domestic places were showing a year or more lead times, I went on a mission to stock the connectors I use before they vanished!

I just wish I could have stocked the MTH boards I needed as well.
