Okay here goes I have two Lionel Conrail rectifiers 8859 and I open them up and they have this part in it !! I looked at the exploding diagrams it dose not describe it. Does anybody know what it is????I posted 4 pictures of it ? what is it ? and do you or any body have a part number for it ! thanks I like to solve this mystery thanks Wayne

It looks exactly like the part in the other engine, the headlight socket bracket. Be careful of that wire that is in the motor so the armature doesn't grab it.

As I stated of Facebook , that is part number 6008754025 lamp bracket.
