That's a crappy title but it will make sense in a minute.
I just got a 30-20147-1, a MTH Rail King SW1 PRR PS3. Nowhere on the box or on the website does it say smoke. But, on the DCS Commander (50-1028) screen when it added there was the smoke icon!?! The smoke stack is open, but I had seen a video review where the reviewer said he thought the shell was to small for a smoke unit.
My FA-2 does not have smoke and there is no icon. My K-4 has smoke and has the icon.
I didn't just want to start pumping smoke fluid down the stack without being sure. I reckon I'll take the shell off and look to be sure.
Nice bonus I suppose.
BTW Wholesaletrains.com, I had heard some iffy things about them, but this is my 3rd purchase and I'm very happy. I ordered Monday night with Normal shipping, called Tuesday to confirm, was told it could be 2 weeks, got the shipping notice Wednesday for FedEx Home Delivery, it got here at 1:00 PM and my son brought it in. AND it was discounted $50! Pretty darn good.
If this puppy smokes this may be the most pleasant transaction I've made yet.
