Ha! Hospitals full of cardiac emergencies; murmurs of revolution; gun sales skyrocket.
Hello Guys and Gals
That's why I ALWAYS pay for my trains in CASH and owe nothing on them (no debt or credit cards). CASH is KING !!! Guys, stay out of debt and be free.

Even thieves love cash!
Posted it on my FB page yesterday. Getting a good number of "Likes" and comments. My wife especially enjoyed it.
Quite the contrary, my troubles will be over!
ALWAYS CHARGE your trains, pay the balance at the end the month, and accrue cash or points for benefits.

I'd never get that message. I'm too good of a CC customer.
I've flown to Hawaii (and back) 1st class on air miles and I have a 1st class flight booked NYC to Vancouver on a 787-9. Can not wait for that experience! And I paid for the cruise out of Vancouver with points.
And I have all my CCs are set to autopay the balance every month.
Yes, I have a lot of trains (not all the points are from trains though.)
I stopped using CC about 15 yrs ago when I retired. Every purchase is made with my debit card (same AS CASH). In return I get Delta SkyMiles and fly for free.

Couldn't rent a car twice last year with a debit card. Had to use a credit card instead.
About a year ago I rented a car with a debit card. Got rid of all credit cards, use cash. If a seller doesn't like it-no deal.

You should have taken the Amtrak instead...show them what's for
I'm sure you all know this, but just stating for those that may not be aware:
If there is a "problem" with your Debit card such as skimming, hack, whatever, your account balance is at the mercy of the Bank. You will not have access to at least some of your money until it gets straightened out. The onus is on you to resolve. Can lead to a lot of stress.
If there is a problem with your Credit card, you just lose the use of it for a couple of days until the transactions are verified genuine or not. You get a new card in a few days, you don't necessarily need to pay fraudulent charges until they get resolved. The onus is on the Bank to resolve. Don't ask how I know this.
I like OPM "Other Peoples Money", then pay them off each month.

Although it's a joke and a good one, don't be too surprised that Facebook has enough personal data on everyone to actually do something like this. We're all hacked by social media.

I wish i had your income!
When you get old there comes a time when you do have enough trains.
Emailed my wife (she was at work) with subject: "Credit Card Issue"
The message simply read:
"Tried to purchase and got this:"

She fell out!
Loved it.

HA! That's funny!!!
Thanks Paul you made my day!!!

Just share credit card accounts with your spouse. Then you won't make a purchase for fear of angering the other person. Keeps me and my wife from buying expensive stuff we don't need. The fear of getting found out is the best way to keep a wallet shut
very good Paul.
I'll never get that message, almost always pay cash unless its a surprise buy.
Darn, wife must have finally called Visa and had ALL train stores blocked from my account!
My credit card is in my wife's name, my card was stolen and she won't report it because the thief spends less per month than I do on my trains.
Something might be wrong here.
