Illinois Central E8As 4023 and 4033

IC ECOGR Forum Member DIGITAL SUBSCRIBER

I found this while I was researching the other day, courtesy of the Akron Railroad Club:

"Languishing E Units to Get New Life in Cleveland."

Apparently, these are the only remaining Illinois Central E8A units. They have been sitting in a field in Minerva, Ohio, for some time. Does anyone have any additional information about the plans for these units?
