Illuminated Sign on Lionel Esso Gas Station Quit

Hello,

I hooked up my Lionelville Esso Gas Station the other day to my SC-2. Everything was working, i.e. lights would come on and the illuminated sign would flash. Just moments ago, the illuminated sign quit. The lights were on, but the illuminated sign won't work. I unplugged the sign and plugged it back in, but it still won't work. Anyone else ever encounter this and is there a fix other than a new sign if one could be found?
