Just curious...what is it about the manual you have that is not correct?

Reason I ask is that I had the same concern re an engine I bought from the secondary market.  The cover PICTURE on the manual was for a different engine, but the contents seemed correct.  (Early edition of Premier F3)

I later found out that for this generation of product, the cover photo was 'generic' and had nothing to do with the specific engine in the box.  In other words, one-manual-fits-all for a certain line of engines...e.g., F3's w/Protosounds or Horn-only.

After that revelation I quit paying attention to any cover photo on the manual as long as the engine type and features were correct.

If all else fails, I believe you can get manuals from MTH's website.  Maybe others can confirm/correct.

Gerry your right that engine goes with  construction set. I have the engine and caboose and the hopper car goes to that set. I didn't know that Until i searched MTH site found out that come in a set.  I found manual on the MTH site but it don't tell me how to trigger the ps1 sounds does for the ps2 sounds  not unless they are the same between ps1 and ps2 idk. Gerry the link you posted is the one i found last night.
