I'm considering an Imperial Big Boy for my next purchase. Is anyone running an Imperial version on O-60 curves, and if so, how much overhang would you estimate is present?

I run one on O-54 and it's not bad on those. Perhaps a couple inches max.
I also found it looks much better if you ease into and out of the curves with a piece of O-72 at each end.
Thanks, Russell.
I run one on me O36 layout and if you set you scenic right it would look just fine.

Mine looks real nice going around O54 curves.
Thanks drodder & Barry. Have either of you had any issues with the PS3 version? I saw posts concerning tightening the drivers and a few sound issues...other than that it seems that it's a solid locomotive.
I have the PS 2 verson and did have issues with the drive rod bolts coming loose but I used BLUE lock tight and now everything is great.

That's not restricted to MTH engines, my Lionel T1 Duplex did a pole vault on one of the rods and flopped on it's side. Halfway around the layout I found the rod screw. I now Loctite them in as well.
That's one of those "O-sh*t" moments till you find out nothing is damaged. Mine flopped in my bridge, no serious damage but I did have to touch up some paint.

I appreciate all the comments; its helpful. I've got it narrowed down to a Premier K4 or the Imperial Big Boy.....
