Phil, the short answer is, No.
The following statement is at the top of my web page, Filter for MTH-Controlled (DCS) Model Train Layouts .
"Update - If you are using the newer Rev I or L TIUs you probably do not need the filters and can try running without the filters first.

Thanks, Susan! In fact, Dave Hikel DID recently install them on most of my RR......They helped VERY MUCH! [Even tho' I DO have [4] Rev L TIU's...]
Phil, that's good to know. I may have to amend my update. How long are each of your TIU output track sections?
