Cool, the fire train is headed by at least one TE-series locomotive, an older reverse-engineered ALCO RSD-1. I didn't know they still used them on mainlines!

Nasty fire: poisonous gasses, corrosive chemicals. I would not want to be on that crew.

This was used in Duluth,Minn. from 1907-1930. It is America's only known firefighting trolley and was written about in a recent issue of VINTAGE FIRE TRUCK & EQUIPMENT magazine.
This would be an interesting project for a traction modeler, the magazine article has a number of in-service photos.
