I have been using Z-Stuff's DZ1008A relays to switch track power on the long Ross switches and am wondering if there is another, less expensive way to do this? Has anyone found a good SPDT switch to use to detect the switch position and route the power? Thank you!

Only thing that immediately comes to mind is a microswitch with a wire (not flat blade) lever that moves with the points. Then swich could control a relay to switch power to the track.
Sam, thank you, I was thinking about something like that too but I was hoping to avoid the expense of the relay. I was hoping to find a switch that can be thrown by the track switch movement and also be robust enough to carry up to 10 amps of current.
Dale, all I need to do is switch power between two rails in the switch so I don't need to do anything complex. Using a relay still requires a switch to power its coil. I'm thinking maybe
a long lever microswitch might work.
