Does anyone out there have an UNBLEMISHED set of the green Showroom cars? By "unblemished", I mean NO paint defects or chips?
Have any of our forum dealers checked their own Showroom Cars stock for paint issues?

I think you're flogging a dead horse, Art.
There are 3 on Ebay ART...cannot see any chipping, but I am not sure where to look!!! I will definitely scour the Auction Houses...and give you a HEADS UP!!!

The paint flaking on mine occurred at the ends of the car where the roof ends meet the car body when the roof is closed.
When I attempted to remove the "protective" foam strip, separating the roof from the car body, flakes of paint came off, leaving the primer. This occurred mostly on the light green areas, but also at the edges of some of the dark green roof ends.
My best guess is that the foam material was applied while the paint was still tacky.
The damage was confined to the edges of the ends of the car, and less to the roof ends. The paint finish on the rest of the cars is flawless!
