Hi has anybody ever install a smoke generator in a older 30-2009.
I'm looking to do that and was looking for some information on what smoke unit would work and where to buy and how to installing it.any information would be greatly appreciated.
You could consider the much smaller smoke unit used for MTH whistle steam, you'd have to supply a power supply, but it could be mounted anywhere out of the way.
You would have to come up with the proper voltages to run it. The smoke resistors require 5-7 volts, and the little smoke motor run on a maximum of 5VDC. I'd use an adjustable buck AC-DC module to power the heater and a few diodes to drop the heater voltage for the motor.
