i checked with my home owners insurance to see if my trains would be covered. I was told they were covered but not for replacement value. He suggested checking a collectors insurance. I was just wondering what insurance if any do most people use. Thanks

American Collectors Insurance for 5 years now great rates and no claims thank God!
Jeff G,
If your Insurance policy allows for it, do an add on, take the pictures and set it up the way you want for the additional payment. My Guns and Trains are on special add on's to my home owners policy.

My insurance company would only insure trains through a valuable items policy. Very expensive. I have insurance through the TCA.

I have mine on a separate Personal Articles Policy through my homeowners carrier. It only costs $ 50 per year for several thousand dollars in all-risk coverage.

Jeff,
I have my insurance coverage through TCA, also. The range of coverage is fantastic and very affordable.
Which is your insurance company? I would be thrilled not to be insured for replacement value.
What, me worry?
