My son Don and I were at a flea market on Sunday to dispose of some excess assorted inventory. Across the Susquehanna River from where we were is a north south railroad line, currently operated primarily by NS. Rail traffic was very light this particular day, with only two medium consists with two engines each. They were about an hour apart around mid morning. The second really caught my eye, as the lead loco was NS, but the second was CSX. I don't see many trains, and certainly not on a daily basis, so I don't know if this is commonplace. It was hard to identify the locos, as the river bank is heavy with trees, with only small openings along the stretch visible from our location, coupled with a substantial distance and less then stellar eyesight. Most of the locos I do see in this area are I believe Dash 8's or 9's.
