Hi Skip,
Look's great to me !!!!!!!!!!!!
Alex
Is Metro North doing an NYC Heritage series?
Thanks for posting Skip.
I used to work for a car dealership in Harlem and coming down the Harlem River Drive in the morning I would see a similar engine from time to time, painted and lettered for the New Haven line. Painted in the colorful checker board scheme.
I sure wish I would've seen this one. It's much better looking.
Again, thanks for posting.

Before you guys get too excited, check your calendars. You can see the image is photo shopped. Besides, the 220 left the property for rebuilding at the end of February. I don't believe it's returned yet.

Well, it's a good photo anyway.
Skip...great photo!!!

Very cool. I haven't seen that on the Hudson line yet. I'm sure it will end up in the Croton yard.

Again, this was an April Fool's joke. It was started on Emily Moser's website:

The units painted in New Haven livery are owned by ConnDOT. It was ConnDOT which specified that its locomotives be painted in the old NH colors. Thus far, as they've been rebuilt, Metro-North's P32 units have been returning dressed in the current M-N livery. The 220, the unit in the altered image above, is noteworthy in that it was the last in-service unit still wearing the solid silver with blue stripe a.k.a. the "G-string" scheme.

Very innovative. I would like to see more of this on other railroads.
