Wow... cool. I rode the tubes back in summer of 1985... lots of punk rockers then.
I also rode train into London from Surry and Woking to Waterloo Station almost every day...
Thats interesting read. I dont remember seeing this cemetary, but its been a long time...
I live a mile from Brookwood station and pass it every day when I go to work. On the way home I take a slightly different route back and travel down a road which the single track line used to cross over which separates the north and south stations which are now gone.
i haven’t walked around the cemetery for some years, looks like I will have to revisit it and have another look around.
At the other end of the cemetery is the US military area which has personnel from the first and second world war.
