I purchased a 2-rail version and went to replace the trucks with 3-rail. The flanges on the wheels rub the bottom of the car.
Does anyone have a remedy for this?
I have tried 2-rail Atlas O trucks with the 3 rail coupler brackets which works, but the only negative is the mounted brake line needs to be removed at the end of the car body (which doesn't really matter) because of 3rail coupler travel.

This will work. I use them on all my 2r to 3r wheel sets. Also there is a guy on the bay that is selling the 3R conversion kit for the Intermountain cars. Coupler and wheels. I bought 10 sets from him. Make it easier to convert 2R to 3RS.

Thanks. I have not tried spacers (washers) yet. I also put the Ebay conversion kits on my watch list and sent the seller a message.
The spacers are just the right height. one will do it most of the time. The guy on the bay is fair. You tell him how many sets he will adjust the price with shipping. I got them for the wheel sets for my Intermountain kits since I am now converting all of my rolling stock to kadees.

Use #2 screws that are used to mount Kadees.or use #3 screws as they have a larger head.. If you want I can also send you the dummy claw copular as I mount Kadees on mine as I build the kits. Then you can reuse the trucks that came with the cars( assuming the were 2R)
