Trainworld must be doing something with their shipping system. In the past 90 minutes I have received emails with shipping notices for orders that were shipped to me in 2014.
Just wondering if it's just me or are others receiving these emails?

I did as well, it was for a package already delivered. Must be a computer glitch or hack

Sorry!!! Must be a computer glitch. Looking into this now. Do you know what items its for. I made some items non active and it must have made an email go out by accident. Sorry for the frustration!
I got one, too. It was for the Big Boy smoke fluid I ordered (and received) earlier this year. I just assumed some glitch somewhere.

I received 2 notices - both for lionel fastrack.
Never received these in the past - only an order confirmation.

Drop me an email (my email is in my profile) and I can send you what I got today AND the original email when I bought the item with order #. The notice was from 5/27/15 shipment.
But if you are resending another shipment for free.... ??!! :-)

As far as I know, I ordered one thing from them last year and it was the Galloping Goose, and I did not get a email.
I've ordered cases of Gargraves 3 different times over the last 6 months. Email all quiet.
Same for me, shipping notice from 2014.
I got one too but don't remember what I ordered back in January 2015. The tracking number doesn't pull up anything from USPS.
Yep, couldn't figure out what that was all about, then I saw this thread. 
I just nuked them, obviously a computer glitch somewhere. I seem to remember this happening another time as well.
Got one myself yesterday. Gee, I was hoping it was for some long-ago treasure that I had preordered and forgotten about. You folks screwed-up my morning and my anticipation waiting for the UPS guy.
I was thinking the same thing Allan, then I saw this thread and realized that it was an old order received long ago. 
Sorry all! No it is not a hacking lol. We are working on a new computer system / backorder system so an email went out for certain items. Sorry for the inconvenience.
I got one as well. And what a huge dissapointment after seeing this thread. Here I was all excited thinking it must be for some, long forgotten item I pre-ordered from them last year. I could not remember what it was but it had to be something really good for me to pre-order it. Bummer !

I received one yesterday for an item on a order that I canceled back in May because it wasn't going to be back in stock until August.
I got a tracking message but it was clearly marked to ignore because they were upgrading their system.

I got one yesterday for an item I ordered and received in Jan.(?)first order I ever made from them. When I placed the order I got how it could be tracked but nothing showed up by computer and had to place a call which confirmed it was shipped and do to arrive. Call was valid. I made a second purchase this year but will have to wait till I get back to work tomorrow to see if I also got a notice on that one also. The notice I received at the time of purchase was like the first and also received the item timely without calling.
7/15/15 I didn'the get the second notice.
Just got three in a row, big orders, even though I received them a while back, I forgot how much I really did order.
