A simple question-- Is Lionel repair on hold for some reason? I have a dead CAB2 to get repaired, and I have seen hints that they are closed until Fall.
Can anyone provide information about this?

The Lionel web site says August.
They're in the process of moving to NC.

Don,
Lionel's service and parts departments in Ohio closed in May and are in the process of relocating to North Carolina. As such, there are no parts available from Lionel until they re-open in NC; same for service department.

I have a bad Legacy base and called Lionel yesterday. The person I talked to said they were not issuing return authorizations until Aug 1. She did say in the interim Lionel was allowing Trainz to repair Legacy systems, however they would probably charge you for the repair. I'm just going to wait until Aug 1.
