Good Day,
Is there a market to sell skyline building fronts? O Scale Building fronts 8 to 15 stories? Buildings from the 50's to the 90's! Brick buildings too! These would be great for the back wall!
Regards,
Swafford

Their probably is. When I was doing my shelf layout I was looking for
building fronts and there is not a whole lot to chose from out there.
Nothing like you are showing anyway.. Looks like a good idea....
It seems like there's a bunch of stuff for HO scale. Anything modern for O scale would be good. I believe I'll have to make my own. I just can't find much of anything modern for O scale. Where can I find your drawings of the manufacturing buildings you made a while back? Joe
Yes there is.
Pricing?
Material?
thanks!
Frank...have always enjoyed your renderings and did semi-copy the Twin Lakes Central towers you drew for me and as seen above.
By the way, I have e-mailed you twice and didn't hear anything back.....did you get my e-mails??
Thanks,
Alan

Hi Joe,
I will e-mail you some of the drawings tonight.

I think there is a market for modern, high-rise style buildings, but unfortunately I see it as a limited one. I think that the average O scale layout just doesn't have the room for it. Maybe if they could be made very modular, they would be able to be made in enough sized configurations to appeal to a wider group.
I think factories and warehouses might have more of a market. Again on a modular basis so they could be made to fit many applications. Make the walls in various materials so that a few basic ones could be painted differently to look like many different buildings.
Frank, I enjoy your drawings. Thanks for sharing.

I would think there would be more of a market in the three to four story buildings. Don
We have cut 15 story building sides out of Mat Board and also hardboard. We sell them pretty cheap but not too many buyers.
Great idea Swafford. Please include the New York City brick high rises at the 96th St Tunnel Entrance to Grand Central Station.
I've seen those flats and their ebay site. The flats look real nice and I put him in my train favorites. Thanks
Got your e-mail Frank....sent one back to you!
Thanks,
Alan

Ben, I did not see them listed? Joe

Frank drew some great warehouses if I remember right. I don't have any copies of them to show. Frank??
It would have to be railroad specific in O Scale
Perhaps an O Scale replica of the Santa Fe building in Chicago or SOO LINE building in Minneapolis, for a creative placement next to the tracks. They would have to have the historic railroad name signs replicated.
What I am looking for are N scale building FRONTS that look exactly like the buildings in Minneapolis. The closest so far are the Atlas N Scale High-Rise additions that resemble the IDS Center in Minneapolis.
Andrew
Good Day Andrew,
Do you have any pictures of the Santa Fe building in Chicago or the SOO LINE building in Minneapolis that you can post?
Regards,
Frank
