I bought a like new with all boxes etc. Lionel standard gauge Hiawatha set a few years back, number 6-13004. It came from the son of the owner that passed away. When I bought it, it was missing 1 small silver badge from the front wing trim. It's only the very end of it on the right side. And it looks like Lionel used the peel & stick for these and is probably why this is missing, and I've seen one for sale that was missing them on both sides. There's a couple slots but they look more like alignment holes than bent tab slots. This has never bothered me, but now I'm going to sell it because I have an original prewar collection and it just looked too new and stood out on any shelf. So I actually never displayed it or ran it. So it's time to sell it to pay for a couple MRI & CT Scans at the hosp! And we have the best insurance plan available. But now they all want their deductible paid in full 1st, the same way car and homeowners insurance does, 3K for me & 3K for my wife, then they pay 80%. So we still pay $200 for every $1,000. I'm sure others are going through this. If you are not, you're lucky that you're not sick!
To the point! Does anyone here know where I can buy this? I'd like to sell it as a matching set. Or I can sell the 4 cars now, and hold on to the loco because I know the price will go hundreds less because of 1 piece of "tin foil"!
