Is This Even Ohio? CN, CREX Citirail, CP Rail & CP in Mentor, Perry & Madison = 4/9/18

Yesterday afternoon I ventured up to get some action up north in Mentor, Perry & Madison Ohio. Anyway, the photos below explain all.

The first train was NS eastbound freight 310 with NS Dash 9 #9119, CN Tier 4 ET44AC #3021 & CREX Citirail ES44AC #1508.

2nd train was CSX eastbound intermodal S166 with CP Rail AC4400CW #9551 & CSX YN2 Dash 8 #7885 in Perry Ohio.

3rd train was the same first train I saw in Mentor. So it's still only 2 trains.

Actual 3rd train was CSX westbound intermodal Q165 with CP fresh paint AC4400CW #9539 & CP AC4400CW #8501 in Madison Ohio.

4th last train was CSX eastbound intermodal Q008 with CSX ET44AH #3438 & CSX ES44DC #5275.

Plus that last photo is CSX replacing the crossing at State Route 528. 528 will be closed till this Fri Apr 13th.

Swipsey, being honest, I never stay to watch a train there in Perry. Only time I ever stop, is if I see a light for a train coming. I usually pick Mentor, Madison & Unionville up north if I go.

Yes, Madison is an ok town. Why a lot of railfans don't take a lot of photos there, some I even know, they tell me it's not the best angle to take photos of CSX. But in my opinion, for a side roster photo, it's excellent.
