issue with K-Line TMCC NH EP5- Advice?

Hi everyone,

I seem to have hit a snag with my K Line EP5 (TMCC equipped form factory) I've somehow managed to find reverse gear, the electrocoupler from the side it won't run in, plus the horn all to work only now and again. The belldoes not work at all. It runs command control, and all of of the other sound functions are normal as well. An Aux 0 input makes all functions except the bell work once again.

Ideas or thought on how to fix this, or am I screwed? if there a way to reset the whole locomotive?

I would open it up and reseat all the boards and connectors. That may clean it up. G

Thanks all! Wil try the full factory reset tonight, followed by the plug/unplug trick. Hopefully that solves things but I'll report back...

Another thing to try with flaky sound is to reseat the two RailSounds chips on the RS audio board.

All fixed! Reseating the boards did the job. Disaster averted! Xmas layout is more and more in business. A few feeder wires and a photo session to come!
