It's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY November 14, 2017 Edition!!!  Share your team track photos here!

Team tracks are a vital part of day to day operations on real railroads.  Nearly every kind of freight car can be on/off loaded on team tracks.  Some passenger train head end equipment and MOW equipment can also use the team track for on/off loading as well.

Everyone with a team track on their layout is welcome to show their operation on this thread.  Layouts from finely detailed museum quality to a simple loop of track with an undesignated spur are welcome!  The purpose of this thread is to inspire one another with our creativity.

This week on the Free State Junction Railway's team track number one located in Lower Patsburg, there is a Western Maryland Railway baggage car being off loaded.  WM BL2 switcher number 81 is standing by to pull the car from the team track as the unloading crew is almost finished the task of unloading.  Several loaded trucks have already left the team track and are on their way to destinations throughout the Patsburg area.  Once the baggage car is pulled the BL2 crew will spot a WM boxcar load of farming supplies for Southern States Farmers Co - Op.

Have a wonderfully fun and creative week!!  See ya next week on the TEAM TRACK!

While at the Team track, the last of the hoisting cables are attached and the everyone is confirmed in the clear before the "lift" signal is made...

There is some concern that the crane won't be able to lift the load high enough to clear the gon. So here it it goes...Looks like we're going to make it...

So far so good...easy does it...

IMG_0484

The trick now is get the load down squarely on the flatbed...

OK!    Down slowly....slowly...a little more.....almost there...

D04B894B-8924-4708-9CFC-B2228351BA2EThe Mayor of Lesserton passed prop 1 which was the East Lesserton industry yard reallocation process involving new buildings and the Herman’s Sauerkraut Company is the first of 2 new companies with the older Halderman Freight service being demolished soon. No trains this week as the building is starting off by moving it by truck until they can strike a contract deal with the local Railroad

Mark - fabulous photos and story line too!!  I love the weathering job you did 0n the B&O gondola!  The crane was really put to the test this week for sure.  You had us all in suspense  - Yes pun intended  The Mack B tractor looks great too!

Rich - thanks for your kind words  and for sharing the photo of the R M R club module.  Very nice scene   So good to hear that you are discovering fellow model railroaders in your new neck of the woods.

Tim - very nice story and photo!!  Love the name of the town of Lesserton

Brian - got to love that "back to the roots " of team track photo with the horse team.   What great early low tech Do you think the crop is sugar beets?

Coach Joe - always great that you take time to stop by the team track.  Your presence is always welcome
