IT'S TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!!  November 29, 2016 edition!   Team tracks are a vital part of day to day railroad operations.

Most kinds of freight cars are unloaded and loaded on team tracks located with rural communities, small towns, and large cities.  Even some passenger head end equipment such RPO, baggage, and combines are sometimes unloaded and loaded on team tracks.  LET'S see what kind of freight is being unloaded/loaded on your railroad's team track (s)

This week on the Free State Junction Railway it's definitely the start of the holiday season with a second load of Christmas trees arriving by an outside braced boxcar of the RF&P railroad and Railway Express Agency packages and boxes being unloaded and from a REA boxcar onto a semi trailer.   MOW is also on the team track with a big hook and a work car with a worker doing some welding.   Post your photos here and have a wonderful week!!IMG_1910IMG_1900IMG_1901IMG_1903IMG_1902IMG_1904IMG_1907IMG_1911IMG_1904IMG_1902

It's a quiet day at the Valley Forge team track with only one reefer for unloading.

The hoppers are being stored while the local mill has it's spur tracks relaid. Roo.

Great scene Roo!!!  Yes, sometimes team tracks have a quiet sort of charm.  All those Jack Frost hoppers bring a wonderful dimension to the entire scene!! Thanks for sharing!!!
