IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!!  Share your railroad's team track photos here!

Team tracks are a vital part of daily railroad operations.  Freight cars of nearly every variety, some passenger head end equipment, and MOW equipment can be on/off loaded on team tracks.  Team tracks are found in remote rural locations, small towns, and large cities.

Everyone is welcome to share your railroad's team track photos here.  Layouts of the most intricate museum quality to simple ovals of tin plate track with an undesignated spur are welcome.  The purpose of this thread is to inspire one another and to create a purpose for changing  out scenes regularly on our layouts.  After all, the real railroads do this kind of thing all the time  There seems to be different freight cars on the team track every few days and/or sometimes none at all.

This week on the Free State Junction Railway's team track number one in lower Patsburg a White's Apple Juice Reffer has been set out by the local switch crew.   Now that the bulk of the apple harvest season is over, White's has leased this car to the local Farmer's Co-op so that they can ship their late harvest crops to market in time for Thanksgiving.

Thanks for stopping by the TEAM TRACK!  See ya next Tuesday! IMG_3858IMG_3849IMG_3851IMG_3855IMG_3833IMG_3836

Fantastic photos guys!!  Thanks for all your wonderful contributions!!

Mark - Your scene shows lots of energy! ( Pun intended and not intended ... i.e. electric motors   I love your choice trucks and choice of placement of figures!!

Brian - again your prototype photos always bring a nice depth to this thread!  The piggyback unloading is quite informative.  Love the passenger train/Greyhound bus " team track ".  I never thought of that sort of thing .... I guess the legions of Pennsy trains bring folks to the Army Navy game each year could  sort to qualify as being on team tracks .... since they used a freight yard to carry out this huge passenger operation.

SIRT - Great looking GT double door boxcar!!  The plywood loads look terrific!!  The fire barrel for workers to warm themselves on a cold day is a nice touch too!!  I'm sure they will be firing that thing up in the weeks/month ahead.  Bravo!!

Tim - Wonderful night shot!!  I'm sure those lumber yard guys are making time and a half for working an extra shift

Thanks to all those who stopped by to see whats happening on the TEAM TRACK!   See ya next Tuesday!  Have a wonderfully fun and creative week!
