IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!   Lets see what's being unloaded/loaded on your railroad's team track (s).  Team tracks are a vital part of day to day real railroad operations.  Most kinds of freight cars, MOW cars, and some  passenger head end equipment are on/off loaded on team tracks.  Share your team track photos here.

This week on the Free State Junction Railway's Patburg team track we see a line of cars ... MOW work car, MOW flat car bringing supplies for the MOW crew replacing ties.  We also have a milk tanker truck from the area Farmers Co-op bulk loading a New Haven DairyIMG_2205IMG_2202IMG_2201IMG_2180IMG_2198IMG_2183 milk tank car ( which has twin glass lined tanks inside ).  Have a creative and fun week everyone!

Patrick, I like the Milk tanker. Can you show us more of that truck? I think I need one.

Sirt, Mystery load,,,I love it.

Keith, I love that vessel load. Did you make that?

For this week, The trucks line up as the crane will be busy unloading another steel shipment, but in a  slightly different form. They will unload wheel sets to be remanufactured by a nearby foundry/machine shop...

Across the way, Haney's is picking up stakes and moving to bigger digs as the moving sale is in progress. Rumor has it he's re-opening near the new interstate interchange....

I wonder who will move in?

hello CBS072

Is that a boiler from the 2-10-10-2 by chance

Hey guys!  Great contributions this week!!  Wonderful photos and scenes.

SIRT - I love the secret cargo idea!!  I just wonder what is beneath those tarps? Your photos tell a great story!  I love the guy who pulls back the boxcar door ... you have placed all the figures so perfectly.

Keith - great looking tower!!  Thanks for sharing how you made it.  Authentic looking scene too!!

Joe B. - There is no team track too humble for this thread and yours is just fine!! When I think about it, most team tracks are a simple off shoot from the main line offering the customer a very basic service of on/off loading.  Looking forward to seeing what might be loaded/unloaded on your team track next week!!

Mark - your railroad wheels look great!!  Did you do the weathering job?  Your scene is terrific as always and great story telling too!!  I heard that Mr. Haney was going to purchase the Shady Rest Hotel and sell his wares outside on the porch .... any chance of that?

Also as per your request, I took a few shots of the milk tanker.  But first I must clue you in.  I had thought of creating this scene ( I like milk trains ) for TTT several weeks ago but had no milk tanker.  As I went to the Great Scale Train Show the other weekend, I scoured the show searching for a milk tanker to no avail.  Finally in the last hour I found this septic tank tanker truck.  Since it had a white tank, I thought it close enough to serve my purposes.

I also did a couple photos of the MOW equipment & crew working at the end of the team track.   Have a creative and fun week everyone!!IMG_2210IMG_2208IMG_2208IMG_2216IMG_2212IMG_2214

Thanks for the ah, milk truck pictures. (we won't tell anyone its a septic tank truck ). I think the Shady Rest hotel is safe. But, maybe Haney can rent out a back room of Drucker's General store? As for the wheel car, I made that out of an Industrial Rail flat loaded with wheel sets I pulled from a bunch of old Atlas trucks. I will be making a post (probably on Friday) on how this flat was made as well as three other flats I have reconditioned. These will be starring in future TTT's.
