IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!  Share your team track photos here!  Team tracks are a vital part of day to day real railroad operations.  Most kinds of freight cars, some passenger, and MOW equipment can be on/off loaded on team tracks.  If your railroad has an undesignated siding or spur ( one that does not serve an industry exclusively ) then you more than likely have a team track.  All team track photos are welcomed ...  prototype real railroading ... museum quality layouts ... and simple ovals of track with an undesignated siding/spur.

Last week a shipment of seeds for the upcoming planting season was unloaded on the team track.  This week on the Free State Junction Railway's team track one in Lower Patsburg, a flat car of farm equipment has arrived .... having been spotted on the team track by a B&O Docksider.   The farm equipment is destined for the local dealer .... Dale Valley Farm Equipment Co.   The unloading crew is unfastening the wheel chocks and chains.  Once most chains are unfastened the Docksider will push the car back a few feet and the unloading ramps will be put into place.  A lowboy trailer will arrive shortly to haul the cargo to the dealership.

Go ahead and post your railroad's team track photos.  We'd love to see them!

Have a wonderfully creative and fun week!!  See ya next week on TTT. IMG_5234IMG_5249IMG_5216IMG_5252IMG_5253IMG_5262IMG_5298IMG_5251IMG_5275IMG_5290IMG_5250IMG_5295IMG_5396IMG_5271

Happy TTT everyone.

The annual Valley Egg Roll got an early start this morning up at the Everett Team Track.

Normally the eggs are carefully unloaded, one by one, using the help of local volunteers. Being shorthanded, event organizers decided to streamline the process.

Hindsight being 20/20, perhaps activating the dump car wasn’t really the best idea in this situation. The railway, eager to get the area cleaned up, brought in some heavy equipment.

This was the last week for pictures from Everett's North Side Team Track. The Valley Railway's new consolidated team track facility begins accepting freight cars next week!

Paperboys - Sorry if I missed your e mail.  Not sure which truck to which you are referring since the photo did not come through with your post.  If its from the previous edition of TTT with a red cab with yellow bed, I bought it new ( $35.00) from a vendor in the Orange Hall at York this past fall.  I forgot the name of the vendor though.
