IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!  Team tracks are a vital part of day to day real railroad operations.  Virtually all kinds of freight cars can be on/off loaded on team tracks.  Some passenger type cars and MOW cars can also be on/off loaded on team tracks.

This week on the Free State Junction Railway's Mountain Division team track a B&O gondola load of wooden barrels has spotted for unloading.  The barrels will be taken to a nearby cider making facility, filled, and brought back to the tream track for loading onto a boxcar.  ( This scene is actually a re-peat.  I did't have time to create a new team track scene this week )

Share you team track photos here.  All are welcome to participate.

Thanks for stopping by the team track and have a wonderfully creative week! IMG_3365IMG_3367IMG_3370IMG_3391IMG_3401IMG_3383IMG_3394IMG_3391IMG_3393IMG_3412

Earlier, borrowed power from the ABC was spotted at the Everett Team Track and Community Park. It brought in a bad-order boxcar from Timken. The car's load of bearings was already behind schedule when it was pulled from the northbound train.  Luckily, the guys over at Roadway were able to send a truck. The bearings will be transferred and taken the rest of the way by road.

The Hobo problem continues to grow right along with their egos. This week, the boys decided to form a band.

Hey Patrick. Yes, I made the fence roles. It's simply a length of Tule (supplied by the wife ) spray painted silver. I then wound the tule around a dowel rod. Then tied off sections at about the size of 8 ft length bundles. I then slid them off the dowel and cut each bundle to equal length. The nice thing is if I need to make a section of fence I have it already to use.

Brian, I love those arched roof (Harriman) baggage cars at the team track. I have a flat car lumber load just like your picture...

Bob, loading ice or fresh fruit, works for me.

Thomas, I love the Roadway Express tractor-trailer.

Great pics everybody.
