IT's TEAM TRACK TUESDAY!!!  Share your team track photos here!   Team tracks are a vital part of day to day real railroad operations.  Team tracks are found in rural, small town, and large city settings.  Nearly every kind of freight car can be off/on loaded on team tracks.  If you have a finely detailed layout or if you have a loop of tinplate track with a team track siding then please share your photos here.

This week not the Free State Junction Railway the new lower Patsburg team track is ready for service.  The MOW crew laid ballast and a crew of workman came in with a bulldozer to clear the adjacent land.  Still no sight of old man Haney who supposedly purchased this land.  However, the team track is open for business.  Presently a MOW caboose which housed the crew who built the team track is spotted on the track.  Next week freight shipments are expected to arrive.  Perhaps Mr. Haney will arrive too!   Have a wonderfully creative week everyone!!!  ( to view captions click on the photos at bottom of post ) IMG_2722IMG_2731IMG_2740IMG_2723IMG_2729IMG_2730IMG_2724IMG_2732IMG_2729IMG_2735IMG_2738IMG_2739

Patrick, Thanks for posting this.  I look forward to it each Tuesday.

In Garyville it is spring 1955, and the all new Chevrolet's are selling as fast as they come off the transports.  Salesmen are taking customers over to the siding track where LV 627 has just brought in    2 more loads.  I enjoy my old 6414 rail car loaded with Road Champ cars.     Azgary

Happy TTT!

The new siding looks great Patrick!

SIRT- Amazing as always.

AZGARY- I'll take the Red/White Bel-air please.

Here on the RSJ&B the team track is packed this week. PRR 2232 just brought in a couple of new generators that were recently sent out as surplus from the local Army base. They will get put to use on several projects around the area.

The problem is that with so much activity, the crane wound up on the wrong spur and the crew couldn't unload them. The foreman was left scratching his head.

B&B Mechanic Wilton Williams inspects the new deck of the Caprock, Texas team track dock.  Caprock may not be the biggest location on the Panhandle & Santa Fe, but the local management believes in good maintenance.  GP7 2791 has just spotted a car at the freight house, and the crew has taken a break and gone into the freight house for an ice cold Dr. Pepper from the vending machine.

Nice work everyone!  The Tomlinson Run Railroad team track has been torn up for the last two weeks.  Ah, just one of the pitfalls of a carpet layout when you need to actually use the carpet!

Hope to join you one of these weeks.  Meanwhile, keep 'em coming!

P.S. - Patrick, I've been admiring your signal tower in amongst your many other details.  Is it an Atlas or someone elses'?
