I thought I would show what happens when the Lehigh Valley High Railers set up for a show.

 

Here is my train room, complete with layout.

The train room is an upper story room, not the basement. You can tell from the stairwell in the first and second pictures. Actually, the wall with the heater has two blanked off windows. Looks normal from the outside.

 

The individual club members own the modules they make. I actually have more modules than I can put up at once in the room. Some get stored underneath the layout, and others get stored in a warehouse.

 

It takes us about 5 hours on average to set up, once we arrive at the site, including unloading the truck. It takes about 2 hours to break everything down and reload the truck. Of course, having a bunch of hands available helps!

 

Half the battle when doing modular displays is figuring out how best to transport things, have them arrive intact, yet still be able to set up quickly. And the modules are not getting any lighter as we get older!
