It's great to see the Ives 17 running with a proper train behind it! It was a real pleasure to work on it; it's always neat to tinker on something that is nearly 100 years old, and Ives motors tend to be very good performers - lots of distance covered per wind. I didn't want to send it back, but I knew it had to go home sometime...

That loco was a bad influence on me... there are a couple more Ives windup projects on the workbench now...
