Agreed....
This set is also usually flaked pretty bad. The tan does not hold up well.
A nice version of the set without flaking and other paint issues would bring the value up.
That being said, it is a good way to get into Ives on the cheap and enjoy the trains for what they are.
The motor in that loco runs butter smooth when cleaned and lubed proper.
