A UP Challenger arrived in Illinois ...prior to the one coming from Cheyenne...this one scratch built by Jesse Bennett of Idaho in S Gauge 3/16" scale ..1960's -70's ...Jesse built a number of engines for his Great Northern Pacific RR ...several Challengers etc. This one has an open frame Pittman motor in the tender .

Remarkable.  Thanks for letting us know and making the video.  Very special in many ways.  Scratch-built.  S-gauge.  Smooth running.  Tender driver.  And Pittman of Perkasie, PA (at least at one time) powered.  I used to run a slot car with their ball-bearing slot car motor inside which at one time was the hot motor before smaller, flatter, imports took its place.  Lots of fun in any case.  Thanks again.
