Jim Waterman recently built me a standard gauge Flying Yankee.  I am so pleased with this train and how well it runs.  The factory that is in 2 of the video clips was also a custom build by Kirk Lindvig.  Great work guys and thank you very much.  Hope you forumites enjoy the video clips.

super sweet, what radi does it have to have ? 072?

When I first built my modular layout, I used O-57 and O-84 curve.  When I talked to Jim about this build, he told me that he builds to an O-72 minimum curve however, he could modify it so that it would run on O-57 by increasing the space between the cars.  I was not to fond of that idea so I decided to replace the O-57 curve with O-72.  Very glad I did.

Actually the factory was built by Gerry Loman of Sunset Toys for the Standard Gauge Modular Association.  Gerry has also built buildings for the Ives Society.  At the Ives Society Meeting at York, Gerry indicated that the building is modeled after the real life, former Lazy Boy factory.  He also made the building in O gauge, which is smaller and is not labeled for the Standard Gauge Modular Association.
