There is currently a thread where-in a small discussion about ensuring track electrical connections took place.  This brought to mind  a product mentioned on another thread that is supposed to help to maintain good electrical connections.  The product is Silver Conductive Grease, Temp -70 to 485 CW7100.  This stuff is pretty expensive and you don't get very much for what it costs.

Does anyone know if it is actually worthwhile (considering the cost), and how far does it go?  How many pieces of track can be treated with one 6.5 gram injector tube?

Is that product made for hobby's?….. I squeeze all three rails with a diagonal pliers. I remove the pins from the track squeeze each rail and reinstall the pins.  I do this with new or used track and once the track work is done I test run a 1947 2-4-2 steamer which show's me any bad connections. This along with a buss connection every 5 to 10 feet has worked well for me…….
