What’s everyone’s favorite JT mega steams favorite scent. I’m looking for a new scent and unsure of what to pick I don’t quite care for the traditional diesel or Coal burning smells.
What do you guys think

Eliminator. I find that the scent of it is even less offensive than NADA, as it leaves the air feeling clean.
My two favorites are Grandpa's Pipe Smoke and Christmas Pine. Both always evoke good memories.
As a young lad, I always liked the aroma of my uncle's pipe tobacco. Curiously, later when I was in college and old enough to smoke my own pipe, I found that the aromatic tobaccos tended to have more "bite", in spite of their pleasant scents.
Bayberry Holiday
My favorites:
Cranberry Woods is one my bride and daughters request!
Coffee, Christmas Pine
Did you see the Virtual York show where they said were asked to create a barnyard scent by some farmers and ranchers, but it was a bit too, let's put it diplomatically, fragrant?
There was a funny story told with that one.
Christmas pine is our favorite this time of year, especially for our setup around the Christmas tree. The new campfire scent is great for 19th century wood burning steam engines too. Our go to is original cedar.
VANILLA
COAL. It's what the prototypes burned. This, however is the basis of our current domestic Christmas tree ban....
BEER is another good one. That keeps the wife out of the attic train room.
I have been wanting to try blueberry thrill, and one of the lumber or spring scents.Christmas pine and cranberry wood is currently my favorite.
thanks for the input

Great input guys , one question I have tried some of the scents listed above and didn’t get a good smell at all. Do some take longer to really set in meaning will the smell before more prominent the more you use it.
I hope that makes scents ... sense lol

If you have had another scent in the smoke unit you'll have to get that out first.
I personally am a huge fan of:
- Maple Sugar ( I run this year-round and all visitors love the scent)
- Cinnamon Roll
- 50/50 combination of coffee and vanilla. (It smells like a latte)
- Coffee
- Peach
- Christmas Pine

That's where this product comes in handy. Use this for a few fill ups of the smoke unit then switch to your new scent after that.
Barnyard is my favorite You will definitely get a smell out of that one
"SMOKE PELLET"
No brainer.
A few months back I started using "Smoke Pellet" in my PW steam engines for the nostalgia of it.
Although, "Christmas Tree" sounds interesting, as does "Cedar".
