Well, small progress.  I am trying to finish up this area first and then I will complete the main line.  The midnight shift and my 2 boys are keeping away from the layout but here are just a few.....please excuse the mess....

Looking along what will be a coaling area or a freght terminal...not sure yet.

Looking down one of those tracks.

Diverging track that will lead to the engine servicing area, main line continues straight ahead, I actually had to pull it up and realign the rail on the left... ooops.

Same diverging track to engine facility seen from the other direction....and a mess of parts.

Thanks so much everyone.

ogaugeguy....what Ken said...

Thanks Ken in Nebraska...yeah I am fortunate to have great organizational skills...

Thank you Tom.

Ken and Patrick, yeah the time with them is #1 for me..they grow up so fast.  Now school is open again and I have time when I get up before they get home.  I had to re work a few places for alignment reasons...coming out of a switch...ect.  But I have those corrected and now I am back at it.  Yeah it had been about 2 months for me, but there are only so many hours in the day.

Again thanks for the compliments everyone I appreciate them.  More to come fairly shortly.

Hi Travis, yes it will allow for a fairly good selection, I am modeling the the N&W with a dash of the NKP....I gotta have a Berk or 2....

Thanks Rick, I just work on a foot or two each night and then walk away.

Thank you Popsrr and LLKJR.

Hi Phill,  a good portion of it will be thick brush and trees/schrubs ect.  Some hills, I haven't figured it all out yet, but I will.  ....I hope.  What did you do or are going to do?
