Gentlemen & Ladies,

Today I finally got to the point that I could Break out the Tin and Do an initial 263E P2 run with a complete 263E Work Train Consist, featuring both the 800 and 600 series Crane Cars and the Pittsburgh, Pa Islays Rolling stock.  The 263E Work Train ran smooth as Glass on the FasTrack.  The Bar Top Train layout is under construction and the floor layout in front of the  Fire Place and Bar is in the planning stages.  Lots of work going on and we had 5" of snow to deal with here today outside on the drive way, back patio and front walk.

Merry Christmas everybody, hope your's was as fantastic as ours!

Eddie G,

The Gray 263E Engine and Tender are MTH P2, the 800 and 600 series Crane Cars and dumping Flat Cars are original Lionel from the early 1900's, the Islay's Box Car is modern Lionel and the Islay's Tank Car's are modern MTH.  My Brother Kurt has the original Gun Metal Gray 263E work Train at his house, around his Christmas tree.

George S,

Doesn't the big man upstairs understand I want to work on my new Train Room!  What's with the 5" of snow over the holiday weekend, guess the Lord wanted a White Christmas this year, after all it's his son's birthday!

Merry Christmas everybody!

IVES1122,

Long way to go yet, that is for sure.  A little at a time and it will happen.  Now my storage batteries for the rechargeable DCS HHRC up grade have gone bad, need to run out and get a couple better batteries like WillyGee advised at Walmart,  instead of working on the Bar Top layout that I had  originally set time aside for today.

Gentlemen,

All this sympathy and I still had snow removal duty, it was a nice new years eve however.  My best friend and his wife were here we exchanged Christmas gifts as usual, and toasted the new years in.  My wife had a nice evening meal for us and we had a great time.  We ended the evening early and I ordered the 6V 4.5Ah batteries I needed for charging the upgraded DCS HHRC's off the Net, from the Sportsman Guide.  The new batteries should be here in a few days.

Might just run my Trains for a little while, sip a little Bookers Sour Mash, and fade off to sleep.  It's been another wonderful year, thank you Lord.

Happy New Year everybody!

PCRR/Dave
