As nature decided to cancel my plans for gardening today, I decided to have some fun with my Trackmobile.

Please excuse the state of my layout. This is only a temporary arrangement with no scenery to speak of. But it does allow me to run my trains in the meantime.

Thanks Dave, Allan and CGWforever.

I've often used my Trackmobile for switching freight cars around. But in a moment of madness today I decided to see how it handled some O-27 passenger cars. (Those and my Polar Express cars are all the passenger equipment that I have at present. Until the CZ cars arrive in a couple of months or so.)

I was quite surprised at not only how well it handled them, but it even looked good doing so. The Trackmobile is certainly my most versatile little engine.

ATSF_Cliff,

Those are the current Lionel Burlington F3 units with Legacy and all the goodies. They are beautiful looking and sounding models with amazing detail. Even the doors open, and I love the little flags provided. I'll be adding a powered B unit soon, and I have the full set of matching California Zephyr coaches on order. All I need then is a layout worthy enough to run them on.

John S,

Yes, it was bucketing down outside. A lovely thunderstorm or three to start the day off.

Chet,

Thanks, I always have fun with my trains. Although when I see the beautiful work of others on this forum, I do feel ashamed of my current efforts.
