Chris,

Thank you for the video.  Now I got to see the layout and room of your article in Run 275.  The Christmas train and the article are both great.  While I see you and I are very different in how we like to enjoy toy trains, the thing in common is trains.  Sounds like you are going to have some anxious visitors.  Have a good day!!

Of all things, I like Santa standing in the open doorway of the boxcar.

Hi Mark. Thank you for the kind words and I'm glad you enjoyed the article. We may have different way's we enjoy are hobby but one thing I have always maintained is there is no right or wrong in our hobby.  Marty & Dotty,Brian & Elizabeth and capt.John all have magnificent layouts to say the least! Large or small tinplate or high rail they all have their own personal signature on them from the builder.  That is what makes everyone's layout special not to mention the wonderful friends we make along the way!

We had the opportunity to see this engine in action today in person. Super nice addition to anyone's Christmas layout.

Chris & Linda are wonderful hosts. If you have not had a chance to see Chris's layout in person, it is a must. His train room is beautiful with many shelves that line the walls containing his overflow trains. The layout is superb. Lots of details and wonderfully crafted.

We were joined by Marty & Dotty, and Captain John. After the layout tour, we all headed to a local restaurant for a fabulous lunch.

Talk about a fun day, this sure was one. Also our OGR family member Alan Arnold joined us all be phone during the visit.

Myself and Linda had a wonderful day Running Christmas trains and having lunch with our friends!  Elizabeth treated all of us with little Christmas bags filled with a ginger bread man and assorted Christmas candy! My friends are the best of the best and I'm glad Brian & Elizabeth and captain John got to see the layout for the first time and Marty and Dotty saw some new additions.  Always a pleasure talking with Alan Arnold on the phone.  Next time you have to come in person.
