An engineer has just given his thrilled young son a Blue Comet 400E and told him it's "just like mine" as the "real" thing looms in the background -

Those of you with very long memories or just a familiarity with Lionel history will know that this scene is based on the 1930 catalog cover which shows NYC engineer Bob Butterfield standing alongside a real Hudson and telling an admiring young boy that his Lionel engine is "just like mine." The figures here are from the Department 56 Snow Village collection.
