Trainworld.com has them from $75.00 to $240.00 depending on road name.
I think you'll find that Trainworld has the older non-scale 44-ton units, the new ones are not at dealers yet.
Anything around $250 or less would be a very good price, in my opinion. Nicely made units. They are shipping to dealers now, so I imagine Trainworld and others will have them shortly if they don't have them already.
Right Allan, but a $75 price would be a steal on this new product! I suspect that's not possible...

You can be 100% certain that they are not selling for anywhere near $75.
Just looked at Trainworld, all of the entries are for the older non-scale 44-Ton locomotive.
gunrunnerjohn,
I just did a search on Trainworld website using road names instead of 44 ton switcher. Doing it this way the NEW 44 ton switchers will come up by Bachmann.
They ARE in. Nassau Hobbies preorder price was $229.00. Mine should be delivered tomorrow.
From what I have seen that $229 price at Nassau hobbies seems to be the lowest. $238 was the next and then the price goes up from there. As much as I would love to have one I will wait till there is a blowout so I can repaint it or they make the road name I want.......Paul
I have the parts waiting to drop in!
They're being shipped to dealers this week. They're sending me 3 skids hopefully today. They should be on there.

I must have not said the right things to the search.
I did an internet search Wednesday (3/18) night and found Mr Muffins Trains was showing them available at the pre-order price of $225. with free shipping; today (3/20) a search of the same vendor showed them available at $319.96 with free shipping.
The 3/18 search showed available at Mario's Trains for $239 w/ free shipping, and available at MicroMark at $238.50 with $14.75 shipping.
Other vendors i checked on 3/18 did not yet show them available on their websites.
I'm hoping my LHS (Milepost Hobbies, Perth, NY) can come in close (say about $250) so i can get mine from him when his shipment arrives.

Excellent! I can't wait to receive my preorder from you! It's been a year long wait.
At 3:00 pm EST, I got a call from Trainworld verifying I still want the loco. IT's Shipping today! YEA!

Actually, our pre-order price was $225 plus $15 shipping. As we all but sold out, I bumped the price on the website for what was left.... Given everyone else's pricing - I am going to reset ours back to $225 until they are all gone..... Thanks.
