I think I recall seeing a photo posted of a K-Line 21" observation car with the block / flat back. I am unable to the image here or the car on legacy Kline. Any help in tracking this down would be much appreciated.

I have never seen one.
There was a Broadway Limited set cataloged. which I preordered, but not produced before K-Line closed their doors.
Thanks Charlie,
Do you know of any scale PER card with the flat back?
Thanks,
Jason
Jason...I believe Charlie is correct about the 21" PRR car...BUT....they did produce the UP version of that car. I have it!!

I believe the extruded aluminum Congressional came in 21inches with a flat back. The closest I could think of with the flat back in tuscan would be the Spirit of St Louis set which came in 18 inch and 15 inch sizes
Thanks.
I have the Congressional set, and seen a tuscan car with the same back, guess it must have been 18" not 21"
The Congressional set is my second favorite car set, after the Santa Fe hi-levels.
Thanks,
Jason
K-Line did offer in their Southern set a blunt end theater car which I have with the Southern F unit and a passenger car
Wonderful photos, Marty. You are the go-to K-Line man.
Jason, they are K-4680R for the 4 Pack, K-4680S for one 2 pack and K-4680T for the other 2 pack. The year was 2006. They were in the 2005 catalog. I have that set and it is also a great looking passenger set.
Three more items to my "needs" list.
I miss K-Line. I used to take them for granted until they left.

Not having any 18" K-Line cars, would these look okay running with the 21"? I have a few of the Tuscan 21", so being able to mix them in a way that looks good and is prototypical of the PRR would be great.Just curious since you fellows have them I am flying blind here.
Thanks,
Jason
18" head end cars would certainly look OK.

Was the theater car a heavyweight car?
Marty....I am going to get over to your place some day to see all of those wonderful passenger trains!! You are the passenger train king for sure!! I am still enjoying the Reading set of K-lines I got from you years ago and the GG-1s....and...well, I won't mention the other one...you know that Amtrak thingy...

Alan, I keep thinking that someday I can get that back from you. I am happy it does have a good home. What I do need from you is your signature on my wall in the trainroom.
