Hi -

I recently bought a used K-Line S-2 dual engine switcher.  It would stop each time it crossed a switch.  Thinking that one of the pickups was not working correctly, I opened it up and noticed that several wires were "fried" I mean, melted.  The insulation cracked and fell off of the wires coming from the pickups.  Enough of them were so that I can not figure out which wire is which.  It also has a solid-state board in there.  I have only worked on Lionel Post-war engines before, so this scares me a bit.

Does anyone have a schematic, or can point me in the right direction?  Google searches have not turned up anything.  The Santa Fe engine is #2313 and the number on the underside of the chassis is "K-Line K-2200-8".

Thanks for any help!

-Brad
