K-Line Couplers

I just recieved my newest equipment yesterday: the K-Line NYC Plymouth freight set. I love it so far, but with the Kadee-style couplers, the rolling stock is not fully compatible with everything else (despite what the box says, I can't seem to get them together). I see there are O gauge couplers for the engine, but I don't know which parts I'll need to convert the cars. I would prefer a one-for-one drop-in replacement; I would rather not have to swap out trucks.
